“Here We Are: Feminism for the Real World” is the book about navigating young adulthood that I wish had been available to me as a teenager.

The anthology, edited by Kelly Jensen, includes 44 essays, comics, poems and lists. It aims to teach teens a bit about feminism’s history while also providing perspectives from different parts of the movement, and boasts a litany of authors, activists and actors, including writer Roxane Gay, former Texas Sen. Wendy Davis and sitcom actor Mindy Kaling.
